Kwok k. Koo was born in Shanghai, China, where he graduated the school of music for Children and the High School of Music affiliated with the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. After immigrating to the US he obtained his Masters Degree in Music with distinction from San Francisco Conservatory of Music. In the early stations in China and Hong Kong. His audience included various leaders of different nations. His series of albums containing works by contemporary Chinese composers was recorded in Japan and distributed in many countries. Mr. Koo was a Recording Artist of Hong Kong Records, Ltd., Music Director of The Dragon Singers (1984-1993), Guest Soloist with CCP Philharmonic, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, Hong Kong City Orchestra, Hong Kong Pan-Asia Philharmonic, and Guest Conductor of Palo Alto Philharmonic, and Winchester Orchestra.
